These chocolate chips are super low in fat, no added sugar and are good. for. you. (!!!!!!)

What you'll need:

  • 5 x pitted medjool dates

  • 1 tbsp of cacao or cocoa powder (up to you!)

  • 2 tsp of vanilla extract

What you'll need to do:

Add the pitted medjool dates, cacao/cocoa powder and vanilla to your food processor/high speed blender.

  1. Pulse at two second intervals for about a minute or until nicely combined WITHOUT being turned into one big clump.

  2. Separate into small chocolate chip sized pieces and then roll into balls.

  3. Place on a plate or tray lined with baking paper and put in the freezer for around thirty minutes.

  4. Store in an air-tight container in the freezer until you're ready to use. They're great for cookies (recipe coming soon!) or even in porridge!
